Scotland's national team has been struggling in recent years. Their last result was a 4-0 win against Liechtenstein on 2025-06-09, but their overall form has been inconsistent, with a record of 1W-0D-1L in their last two matches. The Scottish Football Association (SFA) has been criticized for its handling of the national team. With a lack of investment in infrastructure and a failure to develop young players, it's no wonder Scotland has been struggling to compete with other nations. The SFA's approach has been questioned by many, with some calling for a complete overhaul of the organization. With other countries like Japan having a 100-year plan to dominate world football, it's clear that Scotland needs to rethink its strategy. One possible solution is to create a single organization with the ambition to improve Scottish football. This could involve abolishing the SFA and the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) and starting from scratch. | Date | Result | | 2025-06-09 | Liechtenstein 0-4 Scotland |
The current system is not working, and it's time for Scotland to take a new approach. With the right investment and strategy, there's no reason why Scotland can't compete with the best teams in the world.
